RECIPES FOR STUFFED POTATO

STUFFED POTATO


INGREDIENT

Potato 6 big size cut into 2 pieces, Cholar dal (Bengal gram) ½ cup, homemade channa (Paneer) ½ cup, Coconut paste 2 tbsp, Red chilli powder 1 tsp, Salt to taste and Sugar 1 tsp, Oil 2 tbsp.



INGREDIENT FOR GRAVY

Ghee ½ cup, Coconut paste 2 tbsp, Poppy seeds paste 2 tbsp, Garam masala paste 1 tsp, Red chilli powder 1 tsp, Sour curd beaten 50 gm, turmeric powder ½ tsp, Salt to taste and Sugar 1 tsp.

PROCESS

Boil the potatoes and make a pocket inside the potatoes with a fork
Rub salt over the potatoes and keep aside
Soak Cholar dal in water and keep for overnight
Paste Cholar dal & channa
Heat oil, add Cholar dal & channa, Coconut paste, Red chilli powder, Salt & Sugar
Stir well, cook for 5 minutes
Stuff the potatoes with that preparation.

PROCESS FOR GRAVY

Heat ghee, add Coconut paste, Poppy seeds paste, Salt & Sugar, turmeric powder , Garam masala paste & Red chilli powder
Stir well and fry for 5 minutes
Add stuffed potatoes carefully, add ½ cup water & curd
Cover the pan, cook for 3 minutes and add ghee.
